Helena plays regularly at local folk clubs, including Upstairs at Arthur's in the Dog & Partridge, Bollington, and in Stockport centre at the Red Bull. She has a large repetoire of celtic folk songs, and instrumental pieces. Last year Helena played at the Mayor-making celebration at Bollington's community rooms, and will be playing at a friend's wedding shortly. Being a school teacher, she is always involved in some music event or another, ranging from carol concerts to the Macclesfield Music Festival. She currently teaches music to all the children at Bollington Cross Primary School, where OFSTED inspectors were pleased to find that the school had further improved in music since their last inspection. Music received a particularly good write-up in the final report. Helena teaches guitar lessons privately at good rates.
